Analyzing contemporary processes of communication management in organizations in Colombia is the main theme of the book Communication and Organizations in Colombia, new challenges, new scenarios, which brings together research on organizational communication in the contemporary context; understanding organizations as open and integrated systems through a complex network of systems; including human and material agency, social and digital transformations, sustainability, the Covid-19 pandemic, among other events that are decisive for communication in the complex society of the 21st century.
The book is based on research results that are part of a project on Communication and Organization of the School of Social Communication and Journalism of the University of Manizales. It consists of 7 chapters built from different methodological directions, offering a perspective of public relations studies on organizational communication.
