PresentationAbstract
One hundred years after the publication of Edward Bernays' book Crystallizing Public Opinion, considered the first book on Public Relations, the International Journal of Public Relations published an issue showing the dimensions of Public Relations.
But this year we are not only celebrating the anniversary of this book, but also the 20th anniversary of the Association of Public Relations Researchers (AIRP). The association, which brings together researchers from all Spanish universities and has international representation, is celebrating its first two decades in 2023.
A 2023 that invites reflection on the history of Public Relations in the world and, more specifically, in Spain, with the twenty years of AIRP. And from the International Journal of Public Relations we want to contribute to this celebration with an issue that shows the diversity of the discipline and its importance in today's society, in which relations with the public are essential for any organisation.
